1. What Sawa24 is

Sawa24 is a family driving-score and safety app. It detects trips automatically, scores driving, shows a live family map while location sharing is on, offers a walking mode for children walking rather than driving, an SOS button, and speed and speed-camera alerts.

2. Beta status

Sawa24 is currently in beta. Beta means things can, and sometimes will, break: a trip might not be detected correctly, a score might be wrong, a notification might arrive late or not at all, and we may need to reset or change data as we fix issues, before Sawa24 leaves beta.

Do not rely on Sawa24 as your only safety measure -- especially for SOS or an actual emergency.

3. Eligibility and family circles

An adult (18 or over) creates a family circle and invites other members. Children are added to a family circle only by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for giving consent on the child's behalf before any of the child's location or driving data is collected. Sawa24 is not intended to be used by a child to sign themselves up without a parent or guardian's involvement.

4. Acceptable use

Sawa24 is built so that sharing is always visible -- the person being followed always sees the same sharing indicator the family sees. You agree not to use Sawa24, or attempt to use it, to track anyone without their knowledge, including by disabling, hiding or working around the visible sharing indicator, or by adding a family member (adult or child) without their, or their guardian's, consent. You also agree not to try to access another family's data, interfere with the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. No warranty

Sawa24 is provided "as is," especially while in beta. We do not promise that trip detection, scores, alerts, SOS, or any other feature will be accurate, complete, or available at all times. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, Sawa24 -- including relying on a score, an alert, or the SOS feature in an actual emergency. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

6. Termination

You can stop using Sawa24 and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is used to track someone without proper consent, or that abuses the service, and will try to tell you why wherever we can. We may also change or discontinue features, especially during beta, with notice where reasonably possible.

7. Governing law

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Sawa24 develops. If we make a material change, we'll ask you to re-affirm the updated terms in the app before you continue using it.
